GAINING MOMENTUM

I was really honoured that Momentum Magazine chose one of our photos as their cover shot.
I've been a big fan and follower and am glad to see the bicycle merging into the mainstream.

Cyclists, The Next Generation... and a gorilla?

The Roncy / High park area of Toronto is blanketed with quiet side streets that extend north to Bloor st and south to the lakeshore. With High Park to the west and Brockton and Parkdale to the east it is becoming a coveted and culturally diverse community of citizens who are aware that the bicycle is a useful tool to get from A to B.

Along with the installation of benches and greenery, wider sidewalks, improved on street parking and bike humps (to make the transitions around parked cars and streetcars easier,) I have been spotting signs of the next generation of cyclists mimicking their changing environment.

Learning lessons about increasing traffic safety through increased bicycle, driver and pedestrian awareness can be a part of every community in Toronto.
