Staying true to the Tweedride themed soundtrack running through my mind,
I am doing our very first giveaway!

IMG_6153
One lucky person will get a wonderful pair of unisex knee high argyle socks
(they can fit my calves!)
Perfect for a tweed outfit or for adding some diamond love to your legs.

They are paired up with Matrix NRG mini speakers which are perfect for plugging into your iPhone or non working Blackberry and streaming music in your front basket while you ride.

I personally use my speakers in a martini shaker attached to a coffee cup holder for a waterproof genie in a bottle sound system.
See the DIY video below.

So here's how to enter to win.

  1. Hey The Althetarian sent me over I love this idea - your martini shaken "genie in a bottle is genius" I "liked" you on facebook and my favourite street to ride on is jerseyville rd - super hilly and flat :D (just above Ancaster)

  3. Love the martini shaker, saw this as a tweet by @lovelybicycle. My favorite street to ride on is Bunker Hill Ave in Charlestown, Ma USA. When I was a courier I often had to sprint up it to get from the hospital building at the bottom back into Boston. Nothing like a workout going up the steepest hill in e city again and again.

Liked it wiith my family facebook danandheatherpugatch

  4. I already like the 416CycleStyle page on FB so I'll enter this contest by sharing my favourite to street to bike on.

It is: Ellis Ave (going southbound)

Coasting down this street that is just west of High Park is long, winding and super fun! I find it's more fun that Russell Hill Blvd because there is less car traffic and also being able to see a glimpse of the Humber River is always nice.

  5. Hey Hyedie! Ellis going northbound is nice too if you dont mind a hill, especially all the side streets that branch off into the west entrance to high park at the north west corner of the pond. I used to live in that area before moving downtown. some beautiful modern and older houses in that neighbourhood.

  6. So many good streets to mention. Favourite for exercise is of course Brimley south of Kingston Rd. Favourite ride is Bayview Ave, heading north from downtown at 6:00 am on a summer Sunday morning. You can ride it all the way up to Steeles or Major Mack and then start heading east out to Pickering/Ajax area. Low traffic volume, nice roads and a few rollers to keep it interesting.
