Toronto Verve Velo Edition

verve (vûrv) N.

1. Energy and enthusiasm in the expression of ideas, especially in artistic performance or composition:

Call it Cycle Chic or Velo Voyeurism, regardless of the definition, for the past two years Nigel Hamid has been pairing names to random yet familiar faces of stylish men and women on the streets of Toronto. His website Toronto Verve, captures the raw beauty of street style and features some "sartorialistic" portraits of Torontonians on their bicycles.

Stefani, Catherine and Amber are simply a taste of the Street Style captured on Toronto Verve, however they also help to define the menu of Torontonians that ride in style.

We look forward to featuring more of Nigel in the future here on 416cyclestyle and on Torontobikechic.com

  1. In the major fashion capitals, fashion weeks are semiannual events. January through April designers showcase their autumn and winter collectionsand September through November the spring/summer collections are shown. Fashion weeks must be held several months in advance of the season to allow the press and buyers a chance to preview fashion designs for the following season. This is also to allow time for retailers to arrange to purchase or incorporate the designers into their retail marketing
